There are dozens of roofing companies in Auckland who will say exactly the same thing, so using the whole “pride” thing shouldn’t be the only thing you look for when choosing a roofing contractor.

It indicates they are competent as well as confident in their ability and don’t have a shoddy reputation to hide. Plus, you can see their exceptional work with your very own eyes.
Something else to look for is a contractor who offers a customised roofing solution for you, instead of taking a cookie-cutter approach. There are many variables to consider where roofing is concerned e.g location, climate, building style, proximity to the coast and, importantly, budget. A good roofing company will take all of these things into account and offer you a solution that reflects your individual requirements.
The materials they use is another factor to take into account. As an example, if you’re after a new roof you want to be sure the roofing material is durable and designed to last, while looking good at the same time. We use COLORSTEEL and ColorCote which are renowned brands which come with their own product warranties. Anyone offering you cheap-as-chips brands you’ve never heard of should be treated with caution. Always go for high-quality over bargain basement.
Always ask about workmanship guarantees. Every one of our new roofs and roof replacements come with a minimum five-year guarantee, and any roofing company that rates their work should happily offer you the same.
Finally, check that the roofing contractor has all of the credentials, qualifications and other paperwork required to work on your project. For example, insurance is always a very important factor in any trade-based situation – a company that can’t provide evidence of this, or any important documentation relating to their company and the service they provide, should be regarded with some suspicion.
